Euro Tour: Barcelona Day 2

May 30th
It was a similar routine this morning, we took another short day-trip to the Gaude section of Barcelona. The streets we climbed were so steep, if you fell you would probably tumble all the way back down to the bottom. Once we emerged from the residential section we followed a trail to the top of the hill. A monument of stacked rocks and a cross was waiting. A man was playing some Spanish guitar music that completed the moment (he's one of 15 street performers I've ever liked enough to pay). We took tons of pictures looking out across the sea of Spanish houses before heading down the other side and through the Gaude park. Free time followed, and we all decided to go to the beach. The beach was a highlight of the whole trip. Everyone was swimming, chilling, and celebrating. The sun was shining and everyone had a great time for hours. All manner of things went down that afternoon, but what happens in Barcelona stays there or whatever. Dinner was again at the buffet restaurant, but instead of free time afterwards we all went back to the art museum to watch to illuminated fountain show. They blasted music and the fountain would pulse to the beat. Everyone was dancing and getting soaked, it was a good group moment.
