Euro Tour: Köln

May 22nd
Mark, Parker, Austin and I got up, gathered our stuff, ate breakfast then caught a ride with Austin's host dad to the Ried Bahnhof. There was a lot of traffic, and we ended up missing our first train. We stayed patient and waited for the next one, Ricardo showed up too having missed the train as well. We took the next train to Linz and hustled up to the buses. Everyone was already loaded and greeting each other. The mood was high and we were all stoked to get going. We waited about a half and hour longer for a few more people to arrive, then we set out for Köln. Liam, who lives in Wels, just a few minutes from Linz, forgot his passport. So we had to stop in a parking lot and meet his host mom who brought it for him before we could continue. The drive was pretty long, I think 8 hours, but we were all so excited and talkative it flew by. Upon arrival in Köln we had dinner at the Hostel, then we had a couple hours of free time to see what the city is like in the evening.
