Euro Tour: La Spezia - Pisa - Lucca - Florence

June 3rd

We hit 4 Italian towns today. Starting by leaving La Spezia we stopped the first time in Pisa. Right off the bat, we were practically attacked by swarms of street venders. Since I already had a pair of real, quality "Rey Bw" sunglasses from Barcelona I didn't need anything here. Plowing through those guys takes some practice. After a few minutes we arrived at the main park in Pisa. Pisa is just about as touristy as Cinque Terre, and we had a great time mimicking the people trying to "support the leaning tower lol". Mark almost got it. I had a pizza in the backstreets with Jessie and Erin, then we took the bus to Lucca. It started raining - torrentially. I bought an umbrella for a few euros and wore all of my second-hand jackets. I ran through the streets with a big group of exchange students and we hid under any overhang we saw. We had a lot of free time there, and the rain made the time inch by. Finally we were allowed back on the bus and we set forth towards Florence. It was late by the time we arrived and we weren't allowed free time because we were so loud the night before in La Spezia.
