Lingenau

April 23rd
I headed up to the Bregenzerwald with Mark today. We stopped in Schwarzenberg and Egg to just spend some time in the mountains. In Egg we grabbed a pizza and completely coincidentally met an American who moved to the Bregenzerwald about 20 years ago. We talked for a while and he seemed like a really cool guy. We asked him what he recommended to do in the Bregenzerwald and he told us about a hike in Lingenau featuring some large calcium deposits. He gave us a ride to Lingenau - just around the corner - and we exchanged business cards. We took the trail around and the calcium deposits were really interesting, the hike also had a pretty nice view of the Bregenzerach. While looking at the map I noticed a town called Bozenau and got a little flavor of home.

Those deposits remind me of Yellowstone. Bozenau was probably where we got Bozeman!
